PRICING
SINGLE MASTERING = $150/track flat rate
LP’s & EP’s MASTERING = $35/recorded minute
This includes the master files at standard resolution (StdRes) for all distribution where digital files are used (44.1kHz, 16bit) as well as files at the resolution of the delivered material (HiRes) for higher resolution distributors (Apple Digital Masters, Tidal, Bandcamp etc).
VINYL PRE-CUT MASTERING = $50/project
We provide vinyl pre-cutting (PreCut) files specifically tailored to the physical limitations of the cutting process that are to be delivered to pressing plants and aggregators ensuring that the physical vinyl sounds as close to the digital masters (and vice versa) as possible without physically cutting the masters in house as we do not have a lathe in house.
ATMOS - SPATIAL AUDIO MASTERING = $100/song
We are able to provide ATMOS and Spatial Audio mastering as an additional service to stereo mastering however, we do not do Spacial mastering only. We do not have an ATMOS speaker setup in house but work with several specifically ATMOS built facilities locally and can be used for this process for an additional fee.
PREPARING FOR MASTERING
Once scope and price are agreed upon, a private link will be provided for uploading mixes as well as a link to the info pdf to be filled out and uploaded to the same link.
For the best possible sound quality, deliver mixes in any digital format (.wav preferred) at the highest possible quality (whatever sample rate and bit depth the mixes were made at).
Please upload two files.
First file, removing all master bus processing used to “make it loud” (ie limiters, compressors, saturators). This will allow much more room to work (labeled “to be mastered”).Ideally there’s at least 6dB of headroom.
Second file, the mix reference file that was approved by the artist with all processing enabled (labeled “final mix”).
Any notes about track spacing and fades (if they aren’t already printed) along with references to A/B in the process are appreciated.
Please fill out the pdf with the artist name, album title, song order and titles (all spelled as they will appear in end formats), as well as IRSC codes (if you have them) and any other info you’d like included (format dependent).
